Conversations around employee benefits tend to revolve around one major subject: health insurance. And there's a good reason for that, too. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, only 45 percent of private sector establishments in the U.S. sponsor health insurance for their employees. However, the Employee Benefit Research Institute reported that larger organizations are much more likely to offer health coverage, with 99 percent of 1,000+ employee companies offering sponsored plans.
