Job: SDET/ QA Automation Engineer (Selenium/Java)
Location: Richardson, TX
Term: 3 month CTH
Top Skills for the QA Engineer:
- Mobile app automation experience
- Experience in BDD framework with Cucumber
- JavaScript experience. (preferred)
- Expertise using Selenium with Java or JavaScript for UI Automation
- Experience working in an agile environment
Additional Skills:
- MUST HAVE: Automation skill set using Selenium and Java/ JavaScript
- Experience with Digital applications including Mobile App and Mobile Web
- Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum Experience
- Experience with JIRA or similar Agile tool
- Excellent communication skills and high accountability
- Ability to work with onshore and offshore teams
- Experience collecting and publishing metrics on reporting QA to leadership
- Experience working with concurrent projects and the ability to multitask
- Ability to understand Test Specifications and create automation cases
- Create and Maintain automation
- Java- Understand Framework
- Junit Framework Experience
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree with 3+ years of relevant professional work experience with concentration in quality assurance OR an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
- Solid knowledge and experience in test case preparation and execution
- Ability to work in an agile scrum team environment
- Strong knowledge in quality assurance processes and techniques
- Very strong troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge of software development methodologies, particularly agile fundamentals
- Solid understanding of one or more modern industry standard software languages and frameworks for development and unit testing
- Familiarity with one or more web scripting languages and frameworks
- Experience in the implementation and execution of automation testing and coverage that ensures the delivery of a high quality user experience for web, mobile, iOS, Android platforms
- Experience or knowledge of automation test frameworks and scripting
- Good understanding of Test Driven Development and Behavioral Driven Development strategies and approaches
- Education: Bachelors' Degree with 3+ years of relevant professional work experience with concentration in Quality Assurance OR an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
