Our client in the Cleveland area is looking for a Java Developer on a W2 contract to hire basis.
Description: Successful candidate will have ability to perform various Java software development tasks throughout the development lifecycle including requirements gathering, data analysis, software design & development, unit and QA testing and documentation. Ability to provide technical expertise, analysis & programming to support a wide variety of business applications
Candidate should be experienced and skilled in:
• Full lifecycle application development
• Designing, coding and debugging Java applications
• Analysis skills in business, software, requirements gathering, software review, code debugging, code performance, metrics, system risk mitigation and software reliability
• Object oriented analysis & design
• Software modeling & simulation
• Front end graphic user interface design
• Software testing & quality assurance
• Performance analysis & tuning skills
• Project management & documentation skills
• Software integration skills
Requirements:
• Software development expertise utilizing following technologies: Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, Ajax, EJB, XML, HTML, Apache, Tomcat
• Four year college degree: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or business related degree with heavy emphasis on new programming language technologies such as Java, web services, and other new technologies
• Person should be Programmer & Web component certified
• 5 years experience with programming & business systems (distribution industry experience a plus)
• Ability to quickly learn and retain new concepts and business processes
• Possess leadership skills & qualities
• Ability to solve wide variety of problems, multi platform related
• Ability to produce project designs from business specifications
• Ability to communicate project designs effectively to other developers
• Must be a team player, a good communicator, highly motivated and highly organized
